British Standard 5266: Part 1 2005 regulations decree that it is a legal requirement for all emergency lighting systems to be tested and maintained on a regular basis. This includes responsible persons nominated to keep adequate records of the installation details, test reports and maintenance records on a weekly basis.
Brighton Fire Alarms maintenance division offers comprehensive packages which can be tailored to suit your property including weekly visual inspections, monthly tests for a short period not exceeding one quarter of the system duration, quarterly tests for one third of the system duration and annual inspections for the full durations of the system all of which are upheld to the highest possible standard. All maintenance and repairs are carried out to BS 5266 for Non Maintained 3 and Maintained 3 systems, including full certification.
